After 2 days of Coava’s coffee, 2nd stop of coffee tour is Heart. Thanks to a recommendation from the beautiful Kinfolk Table book. Delicious cup of Guatemala coffee. Might have to come back another day to try an Aeropress of their coffee or a cappuccino.
Roadside Attraction bar. Thanks for the recommendation shirazpizazz! The middle aged men at the next table over have talked about unicorns, lesbian cowboys, Antarctica, pickles, prison food,Tamiflu, and more.
Checked out Java Jive for the first time this morning. Feels like you are eating breakfast in a kitschy 1950s kitchen. I loved it. Definitely will be coming back.
Also, there was some crazy stuff that happened while we were there. Right before we got there, some guy wasn’t paying attention and drove up on the sidewalk hitting Java Jive’s sign and getting stuck in a sidewalk planter. We spent half of breakfast watching the car’s wheels spin in the dirt of the planter. Eventually someone got mad and called the cops. For some reason an ambulance, fire truck, and 2 Atlanta police cars came. For a car stuck in a planter.
